Easy Footwear Swaps for a More Put Together Look

I don’t try to hide the fact that I am a very casual dresser because my business requires me to be on my feet and running around a lot. I have made some easy footwear swaps that take my outfits from casual/rolled out of bed to low-key, but put together.
Warm weather = flip flops
Cold weather = Ugg boots
Flip flops and Ugg boots were my main footwear looks. In the past year I’ve made a point to upgrade my choices and while I still have flip flop and Uggs, I have also added fashion sneakers and sandal slides to my wardrobe.
These gold Reef sandal slides are an instant go to and I love them so much that I just purchased my second pair. They are comfortable, are a metallic neutral that matches everything, and they instantly elevate any look with their pop of gold. I pair them with dresses, jeans, and joggers. A bonus perk is that they have arch support, are cushioned, and the straps are vegan leather.
If you aren’t into gold, they have a variety of other colors as well. You can shop for them here.
The other shoe I added in the past year is a fun fashion sneaker. Mine are from Soda and they cost me less than $40. I pair these with joggers and jeans. This spring, I plan on trying them with sundresses, which would be new for me. My exact pair is sold out, but you can find a similar pair here. They also have a cushioned footbed and I find them comfortable to wear all day.
These footwear swaps are easy to do, relatively inexpensive, and make a world of difference in how I style my outfits. If you have a favorite pair or style of shoes let me know in the comments! I’d love to check them out :)
XOXO,
Jenn
